Me, with @allthewhimsicalthings (the lady who actually instigated the very first Frocktails event, back in 2013) at #melbournefrocktails19 - in a very hastily made up knit dress. Pattern is @marfyfashionpatterns F3646 from the 2015/16 catalogue. On a side note, the next time I splurge and have makeup done, I must remember to a) actually take photos and b) make sure the person doing it doesn’t make me orange 😜
Attention Melb, Syd and Adelaidians - @susankhalje is BACK early next year - classes are up on her website!!! I’m massively 😭😭😭 and FOMOing, and will likely drop in to each Melb class to say hi and to drool over y’all shoulders with bubs in tow. Book now, lest you miss out!
Rocking out with new hair in my @grainlinestudio #morrisblazer - fabric bought last pregnancy, finished this pregnancy with just 6 weeks left of work to go 😆 A good little pattern that I made significant adjustments to - new two-piece sleeves, new armscye location, added shaping, extra boob room and more Couture techniques than I really needed to add, considering I started this as a ‘just a quick and dirty sew’ so I can have something to wear 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ apparently I just can’t help myself. Dress is by @isabellaoliver - whose maternity knits I live and swear by. If only we could BUY knit fabric this good, is all I’m sayin’.
