One Year Blogiversary Giveaway

IMG_4201

Wow. Whodathunkit? When I started this little blog, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

So to celebrate 1 year down, I’m giving away a 2m x 0.98m piece of the lace I used to make my Ladies who Lunch dress. White lace not your thing? It’s 100% cotton so you could totally have a lot of fun with some dye. It’s already been ‘pre-shrunk’ by me, but the care label states a cold hand wash is ideal. This sold out on Tessuti’s online shop soon after it was listed, so I know it must be covetable!

I’m happy to post anywhere in the world – and I’ll announce the winner on the 19th of November. Until then, you can leave a comment to go into the draw, which will close at 11:59pm on Sunday November the 18th, Eastern Standard Time (Melbourne). Don’t forget that I live in the future – so check out the World Clock to see what date/time that equates to for you.

Happy Sewing everyone – here’s to another year in my extended quest to have a battalion load of sewing skills and a self-made wardrobe I can totally get excited about :)

  1. That's some gorgeous lace, and I'd love to make something with it … a skirt, maybe? I have to admit, I would probably dye it, as I can't be trusted to wear white and not find the nearest bottle of red wine to pour all over me, lol.

  2. Yay, a year of blogging! I, for one, have so appreciated seeing your makes and your meticulous approach to sewing. You challenge me to be a better seamstress! I've got plenty of stash fabric to work through still, so I won't enter the giveaway, but just wanted to say congratulations on reaching this milestone!

  3. Congrats on one year! I loved your lace dress and i'd love to make something for myself in the fabric! I'm envisioning putting black fabric behind it. I love a good black and white combo. Count me in =)

  4. Yay for a year and more to come! Also, I'd absolutely LOVE TO WIN THIS LACE! It's amazing and I've just bought some kelly green fabric dye with hopes of finding some lace to use it on. This lace would be perfect. :)

  5. It's like you looked in my brain and heard me say "I WANT WHITE COTTON LACE!" while reading your last post. It's lovely, I would love to try to do something cool with it while trying not to feel intimidated by how wonderfully your red & white race frock turned out…. And congrats on your first blogiversary! I let mine go by with nary a peep!

  6. This is so exciting! After your last post I immediately looked at the online store and was so bummed it had sold out. Count me in please, and happy blogiversary!

  8. I was eagerly awaiting the unveiling of your Spring Racing Frock, and it didn't disappoint. It was stylish, elegant, and very appropriate for the races. It made me start thinking about other pattern combo's this would work well with, but I think you really nailed the red underneath! I'd love to win the lace – so many possibilities of what to do with it.I've enjoyed reading your posts, and have admired many of your pieces, particularly your fabric choices. Happy Blogiversary
